Jenny Craig Cost

The cost of the Jenny Craig Diet plan will depend on a few things such as the level of membership, and the types of food chosen.

Based on my research and a very helpful article at WebMD the Jenny Craig Diet program offers the following levels of membership.

  • “The Jenny TuneUp is a varying advertised special (e.g. 20 Pounds for $20) designed for clients who have up to 15 pounds to lose.”
  • “Jenny OnTrack, at about $200 plus food, offers the basic weight loss component of the program along with weekly consultations.”
  • “Jenny Rewards, at about $359 plus food, adds a weight maintenance component, gives various discounts and rebates (including a sliding scale discount on food purchases), and offers unlimited comeback privileges.”

The Jenny Craig Diet plans daily food costs between $12 and $18 for the prepackaged foods such as meals, desert, vitamin bars, and snacks.  This does not account for the extras such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low fat dairy products which supplement the prepackaged foods.

Forbes in a recent report showed that dollars do not equal results as “Jenny Craig dieters were the hardest hit. A week’s worth of food, which included both Jenny Craig-supplied meals and supplemental snacks, cost $137.65” – 152.8% over the national average spent on food per person.

The cost of Jenny Craig is high, but it might be what some people need as it offers prepackaged foods and a support system for the money.

I have never been interested in the Jenny Craig diet…I just don’t believe in it and have never heard anything great about it from accurate sources. But this is completely my decision.
